Situation:
Strand Leirsted (outdoor pursuit center) is located at the island «Østerøya» in Sandefjord, with a coastline towards the Mefjord. Strand Leirsted is located 10 min from Sandefjord center, in between the coastal towns of Tønsberg and Larvik. The island Østerøya is well known for its nature areas that are well adjusted for a rich and varied outdoor life. The archipelago is varied and with great fishing possibilities.

The venue:
The outdoor pursuit center has large and spacious assembly rooms that are well suited for meetings and parties. 20 rooms with 4 and 6 beds, spread over five cabins.

Conferences:
The assembly hall has a capacity for 250 persons, long table for up to 200 persons and banquet for 120 persons. The assembly living room can take up to 80 persons, the dining room 120. Two smaller meeting rooms. The assembly hall is equipped with audio equipment with induction loop, projector, flipover, TV and video as well as photo copier.

Activities:
Strand outdoor pursuit center is located by the coastline that takes you to the well known natural areas of Tønsberg Tønne. The Mefjord, is well suited for canoeing. The whaling city of Sandefjord has lots to offer. Park with football ground, large playground and barbeque area. Canoes, springboard and boats at the center.
